The juniper that adorns the handle of this Deejo knife is a naturally scented wood, which gives off a slightly peppery scent. All in beige arabesques, each finely striped plate makes your Deejo a unique and precious piece.
Obtained by fixing black titanium onto a stainless steel base, this finish has a double advantage. First it strengthens the surface's resistance to impacts and scratches, then it enhances the elegant lines of your knife by adding subtle matte black reflections. To cut meat, peel fruit or open a package, your Deejo knife cuts anywhere, anytime, but always with elegance.Like any knife, the blade edge of your Deejo knife will wear out over time. To maintain a perfect edge, you should sharpen your Deejo's blade regularly. We use Z40C13 type stainless steel, which is hard enough to maintain a perfect edge over time and soft enough to easily resharpen the knife. Your Deejo knife sharpens normally, using a stone, steel or sharpener. Just be careful not to damage the aesthetics of the blade while doing so.
SPECIAL WASHING PRECAUTIONS: Your Deejo knife should be hand washed with a damp sponge, avoiding the scratchy side of the sponges. They are not dishwasher safe because they risk irreparably damaging their joint system.
